Angie Silvy is an award-winning international photographer with more than 15 years of notable accomplishments in the photography industry. Equally skilled at sport, interior, portrait, lifestyle, and wedding photography, Silvy is San Francisco Bay Area's most sought after photographers and boasts an impressive worldwide client list. Most recently, Silvy has amassed time shooting some of the hottest emerging young talents, personalities and musicians. A master of candids as well as coloration, Silvy's quick eye and ability to react to memories in the making enable her to play the role of a quiet observer, capturing the energy of any subject matter with ease. She regularly shoots high profile events and celebrities and has shot several album covers for acclaimed musicians. Silvy has spent the last ten years as the preeminent Bay Area wedding photographer, shooting weddings for clientele at locations around the globe. Silvy's stylish and unique, yet classic approach to photographing both people and environments enables her to create a story of the special occasion that is unrivaled within the industry. Silvy also has extensive experience shooting professional sports. She made a name for herself when she moved to the States from Australia in 1995 and quickly built a reputation as a world-class snowboard photographer, shooting for several industry publications and companies including Transworld Snowboarding, Snowboarder Magazine, Heckler, Burton, Sims and Billabong. An Australian native turned Bay Area local, Silvy began her career right out of high school as an assistant for esteemed designer Stuart Membery where, for the first time, she was exposed to high fashion and serious photo shoots. Inspired by this new world, Silvy went on to become a fashion and product stylist with Mode Brides Magazine in Australia, where she also developed a passion for photography. Silvy holds a number of distinctions and accolades, including Best of the Bay, 7x7's Bring on the Night, and the Wedding Photojournalist Association Fall 2005 Emotion Contest. Silvy's photography has been featured in numerous national lifestyle publications including Snowboarder, Martha Stewart, Wedding Bells, Bridal Guide, the Knot, PaperCity San Francisco, Sunset Magazine and many others.
